Party Salad (with rock and roll croutons)

Name In Lights
Thanks to everyone that made Friday nights show at the Fillmore (TLA) such an awesome time. Though the crowd in general was a little *cough* older than usual, everyone had a good time and we didn’t get anything thrown at us. Extra special thanks are in order to John Petit and Jessie Todd for lending trumpet skills, Ross Bellenoit for his lap steel goodness, and the Mallon Sisters (aka Extreme Girl Choir) for their sweet angel voices and matching outfits.

so i’m in chicago at potbellies getting a famous chicago style sandwich or something to that effect… anyways, i was making idle chit chat with my sandwich chef while the cheese was melting and he asks me if i knew if the song that was currently on (i couldn’t hear it because there were loud sandwich making machines churning) was a cover of a todd rundgren song. i said i have no idea because i can’t hear it and even if i could i was too young to have ears tuned to that frequency of todd. i did, however, tell of my “todd” story and, apparently, you have at least one fan in chicago. he makes good sandwiches too
