Just wanted to let the world know that we’re planning some INTENSE surprises for our show at the TLA/Fillmore with Todd Rundgren next friday. For example we may or may not be bringing with us a cellist, a violinist, 2 trumpeters, a lap-steel master, and a choir of 4 sisters ranging in age from 10-26. And by “may or may not”, I mean that we WILL be bringing those things/people. So, I’m sure the $35 ticket price might scare off most or all of our loyal supporters but well, at least we’ll be providing extra bang for your buck. And you DO get to see Todd Rundgren after all. And supposedly you get a free apple. There will also probably be some sort of ticket giveaway, which we’ll keep you posted about. No matter what, we’re gonna try to film the show and get some clips up here.

I just found these scrawled in my notebook….for those of you not in the know, patrick is a poetic genius- unprecedented and unusual word combinations consistently fly out of his mouth….

“Charlie, your hair smells like Veterans Stadium.”

“That restuarant is called Shenanigans…and it’s closed [giggles]”

“We’re stuck in a coincidence-loop.”

I think we may have forgotten to mention this on the site back when it went down, but we were on the 6abc (action) news, fulfilling our childhood dreams of somehow being related to Jim Gardner. Anyhow, they took some video from our show in February at the lovely and amazing Johnny Brendas and we did a funny interview in which Doyle said he listens to “Edge.” (We’re still not quite sure what he meant.)
