Thanks to everyone that came out and saw us last week in Boston, NYC, DC and Philly. We had a nice time at all of the above despite outlandish amounts of gear malfunctions.
We will have one more all-ages show in philly at the end of may (soon to be announced) and then we are going into hiding for what will probably be many months of writing, recording, etc. So hope to see you soon, or at least someday.
I just got some film back from our february-march tour. BONUS!
Found this clip from recording silver storms! patrick is so good at drums he doesn’t even need a drum set!
Low-quality warm beer that has been sitting in a van for a few days + Airborne + Emergen-C = A delicious beverage that is healthy and gets you drunk.
*Note - while this is a legal gray-area, it is not recommended to actually do this while in a moving vehicle. But as mentioned before, division day are irresponsible and bad influences.
Here are a couple photos of our new studio space. The awesome space we have occupied for awhile has decided to become more reputable- acquiring all kinds of new tenants, most notably some fancy theatre company that was having rehearsals late at night and decided they didn’t want any loud music coming from anywhere in the building. Therefore, we got displaced. But, it’s been nice to have a space that was completely ours right from the get go- this place is brand new, never had any tenants before. And we’ve been working hard making it comfy. Check back for some more photos as we continue to make more progress. Oh, and the most monster thanks to everyone in The Boats for dealing with the whole moving mess, and moving all of our stuff for us. They are the truest of gentlemen, and we still plan on buying you guys dinner and trying to do something else that even comes close to the thanks we owe you.
*Note - we poured milk all over the floor to make it shiny.
Division Day and the A-Sides out of gas in Tucson from Angela Poe on Vimeo.
We were hanging out with Division Day, who are irresponsible, and ran out of gas. Hijinx ensued.
We have another date added, at the Rock and Roll Hotel in DC on APRIL 25th.
Check out a full list of dates here.
Also we finished painting and putting on polyurethane on the floor of our new practice space. In the words of Charlie, “It’s amazing.” Photos coming soon.
Look at how awesome this website is??? Seriously, we can accomplish great things if we work together. And this was more or less a joint effort between all of us. Thanks for coming, please keep coming. We have some new shows coming up.
